Neal’s wife will tell you he’s passionate, driven, and absolutely, certifiably obsessed.
She opens the refrigerator for her morning coffee creamer and playing cards fall out. There are Rubik’s cubes on the kitchen counter, rope on the bathroom counter, and mysterious apparatus on the dining room table that she cannot identify and frankly stopped trying to identify years ago.
Top secret packages arrive at the front door on a regular basis. Nobody knows what’s inside. Neal knows. Neal is very excited about it.
There are cards under the beds. Cards in the couch cushions. Cards in the minivan. Cards in places that should be physically impossible for cards to be.
There is a walk-in magic closet in the master bedroom filled floor to ceiling with props, equipment, and things that would take a very long time to explain.
